Born and raised here in Ticino, at 16 years old I moved to America with my family. After completing High School and College I decided to follow in my parents' footsteps and study natural medicine.
In 2001 I graduated from both the Florida Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the Florida College of Natural Health with a degree in Acupuncture, Chinese Herbology and Massage Therapy.
From 2001 to 2018 I operated my own practice and also collaborated with physiotherapists and chiropractors. I also had the amazing experience of working at the Sarasota Ritz-Carlton Spa where I enriched my knowledge of massage and body/face treatments.
In 2018 I decided with my family to take a big step and move back to Ticino after 23 years in the States. I am now super happy to call Collina D'Oro home and to have a practice in Montagnola.
In my 21 years' experience as an acupuncturist and massage therapist I have learned to combine the two therapies to provide the best results possible along with some much needed relaxation. I am very proud to offer a wide variety of treatments that will help you achieve your best health.

Massoterapista specializzato in Medicina Cinese e Biodinamica Craniosacrale, tengo sedute individuali e corsi di formazione.
Conseguita la Laurea in Lettere e Filosofia nel 2005 inizia il mio percorso nel mondo delle culture orientali e delle terapie corporee studiando lo Yoga e il Canto Vedico, il massaggio Shiatsu, la Massoterapia occidentale e la Massoterapia cinese TuiNa e con essa la Medicina Cinese, che rimane tuttora la mia principale teoria di riferimento per la conoscenza del corpo e del mantenimento della salute.
Continuo a studiare in questi anni completando il percorso di Agopuntura in Svizzera e proseguendo la mia ricerca tra l’Italia, la Svizzera e l’Inghilterra.
La coltivazione delle pratiche di salute come QiGong, Yoga e meditazione riveste un ruolo molto importante nella mia formazione come terapista e mi porta ad interessarmi allo studio della Biodinamica Craniosacrale, di cui divento operatore e insegnante. In questo contesto approfondisco lo studio dell’embriologia e della psicologia pre-perinatale incontrando insegnanti europei e americani.
YULIA KNESTYAPINA
I am Yulia Knestyapina, a wellness worker passionate about all the practical and theoretical aspects of this profession. My training began at the I. and F. P. Academy of Gallarate through a three-year course where I acquired the qualification and specialization of Aesthetician and Massage Therapist. I am in continuous professional growth following constant courses focused on body and aesthetic massage techniques. My wealth of knowledge is rich and updated to follow my clients on every aspect of their well-being and their beauty, so as to make my role more and more important as a guide on the well-being of their face and body.
DEIVA RUGGIO
My name is Deiva Ruggio, and I have many years of experience as a massage therapist in the preventative field, obtaining my diploma from the Ordine dei Massaggiatori in Lugano in 2003.
I had the opportunity to join this profession at a young age gaining experience and dedication over time. I have worked privately as well as in hotel spas and I offer relaxing, sports, anti-cellulite, deep tissue massage as well foot reflexology.
